From Monday 27th October to Saturday 1st November 2025, The Vale takes on a touch of autumn magic, and a little bit of spooky fun. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or as a couple looking for a cosy break with a seasonal twist, there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay.

• Pumpkin carving fun: each lodge and cottage will have its own pumpkin carving kit waiting for you, complete with a welcome card full of inspiration, safety tips, and details on our Pumpkin Carving Competition. Carve your masterpiece, snap a photo, and tag us on social media for your chance to win a £150 Ohana Mua gift card.

   

• October scavenger hunt: a self-led scavenger adventure at The Vale, set off with your October Hunt sheet (found in your lodge or cottage) and discover nature’s seasonal surprises around The Vale, Cornwall. Complete the playful challenges, then pop by our reception to claim a sweet treat.
