Our newest destination

We’re growing. South View Lodges, a much-loved retreat of luxury lakeside lodges set in woodland near Exeter, is now part of the Ohana Mua family, joining The Vale in Cornwall.
 

South View is everything we love about a great escape: lakeside lodges, hot tubs under the trees, and a genuinely warm welcome. The experience you know stays just as it should be, and over time we’ll bring our energy positive ethos and smart design to the destination, always with care for what makes it special.

Set in six acres of Devon woodland just outside Exeter, South View is a peaceful, grown-up kind of escape. Think still lakes, birdsong, and the odd resident alpaca, with the city close by and the South Devon coast an easy drive away.

Six individually designed luxury lodges, with a hot tub set on private decking above the water. Two are dog-friendly. Most are step- free and accessible.  Inside, you’ll find open-plan living, a wood- burning stove, and a proper kitchen for slow mornings and lazy dinners in.

Wander the woodland trails, try the on-site coarse fishing lakes, or simply sink into the hot tub and watch the sun go down. Meet the alpacas, plan a romantic escape, or use South View as your base for exploring Exeter and the South Devon coast.
