Ohana Mua acquires South View Lodges, Devon, as we build a UK collection of energy positive destinations.

Ohana Mua Limited has acquired South View Lodges in Devon, our second destination. South View is a much-loved retreat of luxury lakeside lodges set in woodland near Exeter, joining The Vale in Cornwall, which opened in July 2025 as our first destination.

It’s the next step in a long-term plan: a UK collection of energy positive destinations, with one in every region, each designed to generate more energy than it consumes. Our focus now is to invest in what’s already there before we expand the destination and its facilities, applying the model we developed at The Vale: thoughtful design, smart technology, an energy positive ethos, and a genuine welcome for every guest.

The founders, Jill and Andrew Taylor, are staying on to lead day-to-day operations, preserving the character that built South View’s reputation.
