The quiet months are one of our favourite times at The Vale. The lanes empty out, the woodland turns, and there's nothing better than sinking into a copper bath under the stars with the sea just three miles down the road. Come in October for the colour, or in December for a proper switch-off before Christmas.
We're giving one lucky winner a break for up to six people at our Cornish retreat, to be taken any time between 1 October and 18 December 2026. All you have to do is enter and join our mailing list. Already on the list? You can still enter.
The prize
One winner will get their pick of a three-night weekend break, or a four-night midweek break, in one of our Cardinham lodges.

Terms and conditions

2. Who can enter Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of Ohana Mua, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry period Entries open at 00.01 on Friday 28 August 2026 and close at 11.59pm on Monday 14 September 2026. Any entries received after the closing time will not be counted.
4. How to enter Complete the entry form on ohanamua.co.uk and subscribe to the Ohana Mua mailing list. Guests who are already subscribed are welcome to enter and do not need to subscribe again. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Internet access and a valid email address are required. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be removed. Bulk, automated, or third-party entries are not accepted and will be void.
5. The prize One winner will receive a stay for up to six people at The Vale, Cornwall, in a Cardinham Lodge, consisting of either a three-night weekend break (arriving Friday, departing Monday) or a four-night midweek break (arriving Monday, departing Friday). Up to three dogs are included.
The prize does not include travel to and from The Vale, food and drink, EV charging, spa treatments, guided trips, or any other extras or purchases made during the stay.
6. Booking your stay Arrival and departure must fall between 1 October and 18 December 2026. Stays cannot be taken between 24 October and 1 November 2026 (October half term). All dates are subject to availability at the time of booking and must be booked directly with us. Once dates are confirmed they cannot be changed, and the prize cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
7. No cash alternative The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
8. Choosing the winner One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries within five working days of the closing date, using a randomised selection process supervised by an independent person.
9. Telling the winner The winner will be notified by email within five working days of the draw, using the email address given at entry. The winner must respond within 14 days to claim the prize. If we don't hear back within that time, we reserve the right to redraw and select another winner.
10. Publicity The winner's first name and county may be published on our website and social channels. The surname and county of the winner are available on request within one month of the closing date by emailing marketing@ohanamua.co.uk.
11. Your data All entries are handled in line with our privacy policy at ohanamua.co.uk. By entering, you're joining our mailing list, which means we'll email you occasional news, offers, and stories from our retreats. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
12. Social media This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
13. General The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary. Any entry that breaches these terms will be void. The prize stay is subject to our standard booking terms and conditions, which are available at ohanamua.co.uk.
14. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Acceptance Entering this competition means you accept these terms and conditions.
